Successful Completion of PeckShield Audit Horizon Protocol Security Update We are thrilled to announce that the comprehensive audit by PeckShield, covering both the new features detailed in our roadmap and the existing functionalities within UI V2, has been successfully concluded. In summary, PeckShield’s audit found no critical issues during the assessment. While the assessment did uncover seven matters spanning from informational to medium risk, we are pleased to inform you that each has been promptly addressed by the Horizon Protocol team. PeckShield’s findings: “Overall, these smart contracts are well-designed and engineered, though the implementation can be improved by resolving the identified issues, including 2 medium-severity vulnerabilities, 4 low-severity vulnerabilities, and 1 informational recommendation.“ Further to that, based on PeckShield’s advice, we will be migrating ownership of the protocol admin keys to a multisig wallet contract in the forthcoming weeks. This strategic addition will serve as an extra layer of security, substantially mitigating the risk associated with single points of failure. The report can be read in full here. We want to thank you for Peckshield’s valuable insight and security support. And we look forward to continuing this partnership with PeckShield to bolster our ongoing security endeavors. Additionally, we are actively exploring various avenues to reinforce the safety of the Horizon Protocol.
